We in Monument have a special connection to Japan and have worked with Japanese artists, labels and organizers the last 12 years. We have travelled there, they have travelled to us - and we have connected through amazing experiences on the dancefloor. The Japanese sound, for some special reason, always connect deeply with us in Norway. Now, for this special occasion, we are doing an allnighter with Japanese legend Haruka - and are lucky to also have Laura MRLS coming over from Finland to open the night.

Haruka
Over the last decade, Tokyo-based DJ Haruka has emerged as a leading figure in Japan’s dance music scene. Haruka’s reputation within Japan has led to success overseas as well, with regular bookings across Asia, Oceania, North and South America, and sets at European staples. In addition to providing mixes to various music media outlets to show his sophisticated techno selection, Haruka also launched a label Protection to explore the margins between the dance floor and contemporary music.

Laura MRLS
Laura is a good friend and previous crew member of Monument, currently based in Helsinki. Laura has helped build Monument into what it is today, and we are very excited to have them visit us for this special occasion.
Laura MRLS is a non-binary DJ and producer based in Helsinki, crafting hypnotic and emotionally dense sonic journeys that blur the line between deep techno, melancholic ambient, and experimental sounds. Their sets are known for eerie atmospheres, industrialesque textures, and a subtle psychedelic undercurrent—building tension and release in long form narrative arcs.
