Human and Connected with EIR: movement, breathwork & art
Dear Monument family, we are excited to welcome you to a grounded Sunday with movement, a new breathwork journey, ending with sharing of cacao & art exhibition.
Dear friend, we are gathering again, this time to connect with our humanness & to feel our interconnectedness. In a time that can feel overwhelmingly fragmented & chaotic, we come together to create pockets of belonging & joy, this time at Sentralen.
The lovely duo Bodybased will guide us into our bodies through movement before we dive into the breathwork. The breathwork will be guided by Pustetuva with music from pianist & composer Vetle Nærø on the grand piano. We will end the session with cacao from Myrvann (bring your own cup) and immerse ourselves in Hansine & Matthew’s art exhibition “Humanness and interconnectedness” in the next room.
Program:
11:00 - Welcome
11:15 - Movement with Bodybased
12:00 - Breathwork & live music with Pustetuva & Vetle Nærø
14:00 - Conversations, cacao, art viewing & market
15:00 - Program ends
What to bring?
Bring a cup and a yoga mat if you have one. Clothes suitable for movement, an eye mask, water bottle, and some comfy warm clothes for the breathwork is recommended. Many like a pillow under head and knees, and a wool blanket. Bring whatever you think will make you comfortable during the journey.
At Sentralen, Øvre Slottsgate 3, walking distance from Nationaltheatret subway station, 3rd floor in Forstanderskapssalen.
You don't need any previous experience with movement or breathwork to participate at this event.
Contraindications: breathwork is not advised for individuals who are pregnant or have a history of cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, severe asthma, or serious mental health conditions. If you still want to come, you can take it as a meditation opportunity.
See you on the mat!
Much love,
Tuva & the EIR crew
